Thanks I like the hockey puck idea.
Other advice that I did get was to get a jack rated for at least 1/2 the car's weight as due to the rigid body, the jack should be capable of lifting at least 1/2 car's weight.
Looks like I will shop for a 2 ton as the most convenient for the Soul EV and the...
As reported by others, I have found that locking the car after the charger is plugged in will lock the charger handle in as well. So returning to the car you need to unlock the car first to release the charger handle.
What is interesting is that if you lock the car first, then connect the...
Probably right to go with a trailer type hitch.
Once someone finds one that works for the Soul EV please post.
Till then I will carry the bikes inside my 2013 Leaf instead
The Soul EV does not have a jack but owners may wish to rotate tires or do an occasional full clean of the rims.
The Soul EV jacking points have reinforced edges that would take a slotted jack but care is needed to have a heavy duty enough jack to handle the Soul EVs extra weight (battery...
I heard of another case involving a 2016 Titanium about 1-2 months old. Ther fault was traced to a switch in the fuse panel area that was 1/2 deployed. Switch to full on solved the problem.
Just buy a 240 V 40AMP (32 Amp Continuous) Level 2 and save yourself a lot of risk and grief.
The price keeps coming down on these units (ClipperCreek in USA or SunCountryHighway in Canada)

But finally found a way to stop the sounds
Go to Address Book/Select Folder/Group1
You will see a list of addresses, pick one with Edit
Then...
Bell rings when car reaches archived navigation destinations
I have noticed that the "arrival bell" rings whenever I reach a previously used (archived) destination.
Although the Kia Soul EV rings a lot of bells as an awesome car, does anyone know how to turn this feature off?
So far cannot find...
Possibly
From the Steering Wheel buttons that control the Drivers LCD display
Go to User Settings/Settings/Service Interval/
Here you can change the service interval from km to miles, which might also change the odometer to miles
Unfortunately (unlike the Leaf) there does not appear to be a...
It appears that the charging cable locks in the outlet when the doors are locked. Returning to the vehicle means owner has to unlock doors to remove charge cable. Reason is to stop vandals unplugging the car when charging unattended
Alternate school of thought is to be able to leave cable...
