    No. I have got into the car whilst it was charging to get things out of it, and the charge was not interrupted. The only interaction between charging and locking is that you cannot remove the charging connector from the car's socket if the car is locked.

    Yes, mine is currently showing 5.2 m/kWh which equates to 8 km/kWh. The speed limit on our island is 40 m/h = 64 km/h, so it does suggest that lower speeds improve economy! Btw, I drive in Economy Mode, and always in B.

    Yes, exactly so. I use the car's charging control to do the timing, but it should work just as well with a timer on the external unit. I should add that my timings are for a 240V supply. If you are using a 120V supply, you should require approximately double the time.

    GOM - that's right. The cycles I perform are 30% to 80%, as it allegedly prolongs battery life, but that may not fit your operating pattern, so whatever suits you.
