    I am getting some strange SOH values on my 2018 Soul EV+. Restarting Torque and power cycling the car didn't make a difference. I was finally able to get a 33.0kWh value for a brief moment but it went back to this 18.0kWh, 60% SOH value. I checked again today and it shows the same thing.

    I setup the new PIDs from GitHub for the 30kWh battery and put together the following screen showing a reading on my 2018 Kia Soul EV+ at the 229 mile mark. The deteriation values are all zero.

    Charging won’t begin

    There could also be a problem with your EVSE, unless you mean you have tested the same EVSE on other outlets and it worked fine. One of my OpenEVSEs stopped charging the car and I had to unplug it and plug it back in to reboot its internal processor. It has been fine ever since.

    JejuSoul, I just traded in one of my 2016 Soul EV+ for a 2018 EV+ and have not been able to find the 2018 files. I'd be glad to test those updates but would like to start with the current files. I still have one 2016 so I want to be able to use one set of PID codes for both cars.

    Heating tip while Winter Driving on the Highway

    It would be interesting to see how keeping the vents closed affects the battery pack temperature. Remember that the cabin air is what is vented through the battery pack to either cool or heat it. A cold battery is not as efficient as a warm one.
