Add in that in some cases Kia disabled the head unit modem after a set number of years. My used 2017 had this issue (which you can identify when the modem number is all zeroed) and I had to replace it for about $500. But I got my Uvo back now.

As a 2017 second owner in the US I can confirm my battery was replaced at no cost. Warranties are on the car not the person.

I think that screenshot shows energy consumption not range. In my 2017 it’s usually around 3-4 because of the way I drive and hills etc but I ignore it usually. I doubt anyone could get 23 unless they’re driving around a flat farm at 5mph. :) I’m not sure it’s the right metric in this case...

Today coincidentally Apple released an update to 16.4.1 and it fixed the issue. My kid’s phone hasn’t been updated yet and it still doesn’t work so I am pretty confident something in 16.3.1 broke CarPlay and 16.4.1 fixes it.

Anyone else have a recent issue where CarPlay stopped working? My iPhones also won’t charge anymore from the USB port. I’ve tried multiple cables to no avail. I know the USB port is working because it will charge my iPad. Headunit software version: ST.PSEV17.USA.E540.220414 iPhones are on 16.3.1

Hello My Kia’s charging door will not stay closed. The right side catches but the left side (towards the center of the car) will not stay latched. Other than the dealer is there a way to fix this? Tips?

Anyone know if you can send addresses from Google maps (browser) to the Soul's nav system? My Leaf can do this (albeit somewhat awkwardly) and I'd love to do it in the Soul too. :)

I just leased my Soul from Kia of Sherman Oaks and had a great experience ($500 under MSRP, probably could have gotten it down a bit more). Super nice people. Better than Downtown LA Kia, which tried to add $4,000 to the MSRP. Walked out of DTLA Kia -- not a great experience. Rich 2013 Leaf...
