Car stuck at dealer for 3 months awaiting warranty battery replacement (2017 Soul EV)

That is horrible Rubber Toe! Did they say what the buy back price is? What a sad end to a car I loved. We all deserve better!

Kia dealer has my SoulEV for 3+ months

Kia Corporate just strings me along with what I now know were lies. They seem to have the same respect for their dealerships. I will never buy another Kia because of this experience. They know it and couldn’t care less.

Battery Recall for cars with E400 high-voltage battery.

I don’t 100% believe this yet but today my service tech told me that they spoke to Kia corp today about my specific issue and was told that a software Update would be available next week. I have the same e400 recall for my remanufactured pack as everyone else. Fingers crossed that it is true...

    Kia buy back

Same basic story. They tore my soul apart in November. I've since moved states and the dealership wouldn't put my car back together or continue a rental car in a different state. Kia corporate would give me some money for a rental car but it fell $22 a day short of the going rate. I can't...

KIA of Portland OR, Ken Cornelison GM. - Liars, Thieves and Cheats...and Elder Abusers...

I will agree with a few of your points. I've purchased two of these vehicles, One new, one a few years older. Advertising by all the dealerships are deceptive. They always advertise the full capable range when it was new which never holds true on this car after a few years. Their only defense...

Battery Recall for cars with E400 high-voltage battery.

Kia Corporate reached out to me via email. Invited me to express any concerns I had that the dealership couldn’t address. I did about a week ago but haven’t received a reply yet. The dealership told me there is a nationwide hold on soul evs when they come in for the recall repair and they...

Battery Recall for cars with E400 high-voltage battery.

Has anyone had their ev in the dealership so long that they moved to another state? I’m wondering how they will handle a loaner/rental car.

Battery Recall for cars with E400 high-voltage battery.

In my experience, there is not a 2016 still running on the original pack that still has 93 miles of range. They also sent that notice to you because they have record of an e400 battery pack in your car. I have a replacement e400 as well and there is reason to bring it in even if it's working...

Battery Recall for cars with E400 high-voltage battery.

2015 soul, had the e400 pack installed a few years ago. The car was running great. I took it in for the recall, they already had a cable, and it’s been there over a month. i’m told that the battery did not give the proper responses after the new cable was installed. They are waiting for Kia to...

    What did new bms do?

I have a 15 soul ev. Range was down to 50 miles and soh 67% via soul spy. Brought it into the dealer expecting a warranty battery replacement. They updated the BMS and now my car says 88 miles in range. Soul Spy reports 111.5% soh on 96 cells. So what did bms change? Will my range...
