    If it only does it when the AC is on, it does NOT sounds to me to be EV system related....it sounds like AC system related (the fact that the AC system runs on an electrically operated compressor and fans, does NOT make it 'EV system related'. Your warranty coverage for that likely runs out...

    Same for me...trying to get the US update for a 2016 Soul EV, and the link just says This site can’t be reached updateaccess.kia.com’s server IP address could not be found. And yes, I put in my vin number at the end, and tried editing the URL to both AVN4.0, AVN5.0, and AVN6.0.... same...

    Included Level 1 Charger (North America vs. Europe)

    So can I just wire up a converter/adapter that wires the hot leads from a 14-50 or 6-30 to the 2 blades in a 5-15R socket? Preserving the Green ground wire... After all, it's still only 12A... Pete.

    Included 'trickle' charger

    Just bought a used 2016 Soul EV. I noticed the included Kia 'home trickle' charger has a standard 120V 15Amp plug on it (5-15?), but the charger is labeled as 250V...Can I get or make an adapter cable to convert a 'standard' 14-50 or 6-50 (or 6-30) outlet you see at RV parks and charge at 240V...
