2019 Soul EV heat pump noise on cold morning start-up

Has anyone noticed 2014-2019 Soul EV heat pump noise on cold morning start-up?

I noticed this the first time when temps we at -2Deg.C.

I should say that once it warms up the noise disappears, and it is not related to the fan as the fan was not running. It is load enough to be heard over the inside cabin fan and form 3 meter distance or more form the car.

My 2016 is noticeable at times, usually cold temperatures but the car has warmed up enough that the internal fan speed has dropped. I sometimes hear it when doing AC in the summer. It sounds like an old noisy fridge compressor.
