3rd Party Software to control Chargepoint charger?

Does anyone know if there is any 3rd party software that could give some better control over a Chargepoint Lvl2 charger than Chargepoint's app? I like to charge at night (when the rates are low!) but I'd also like the system to stop charging at around 80% capacity to maintain battery life. And I'd rather not set an alarm to awake me in the middle of the night to do that! :roll:

Any ideas?

I somewhat doubt that the charging interface carries the data from the car to tell the charger what %age charge has been reached - unless you know otherwise?

That's a valid point. I suppose I could charge for exactly one hour and then see what the % increase was. Then it would be a matter of calculating the time needed and schedule the charger to stop after X-hours to get it close. Feasible?

That's the only way, the J1722 doesn't signal battery status. Battery charge rate on the L2 is basically linear, guestimate at 25% per hour for 32A 240V to start with and then tweak it a little.

Mine does 2hr 40 min for 50% (30%-80%) @32A 240V
