Alarm type tone with no visual indication.

This morning, as I was turning into a side road, I got a dong, dong, dong.... noise, lower pitched than the proximity tone. No indication of any fault, the proximity diagram did not appear, and it did not stop when I cancelled the turn signal. I stopped the car, tried a few things but to no effect, and then, when I wasn't doing anything, it stopped, and didn't return when I started moving.

Anyone else encountered this?

Maybe the Road Kill warning.

Try unchecking the setting - Setup / Navigation Page / Safety / Alert Tab/Road Kill

Thanks, but I do not seem to have a Safety icon on the Nav page. Perhaps mine (2018 MY) is a later edition? My Setup is called Settings.

How does the sound compare to the "No Seat-belt" warning. I suggest you look through the settings to see if any other similar features have been turned on recently. Or have been added with a Navigation Software upgrade.
