AUTOMATIC STOP LIGHTS

Kia Customer Service incorrectly told me that only the brake pedal switch can activate the stop lights. Truth is, with the shift lever in 'B' mode, two or more 'regen' bars upon throttle reduction will activate the stoplights. Makes sense that you would warn following vehicles that you are seriously reducing speed with the aid of regen without touching the brake pedal.

Yes correct. I noticed this last night as I was driving. The rear brake LED's would come on without me breaking when in "B". I tried this in "D" and they will only come one when the brake pedal is pressed.
