After a full charge I noticed that the battery indicator was blinking on the bottom of the gauge. The battery was full and I didn't have any trouble on the drive, but thought it was peculiar that one or two of the red sections would blink intermittently and sometimes the whole bottom third of the battery indicator light would blink.

The car is just under a year old and has about 9000 miles on it.

Any thoughts? Is this concerning?

Thank you so much! I love my car, but I'm not near any authorized dealership to take it too (though the local dealership was very helpful with another problem).

This has been around for a while. It just came up on the facebook page so I will paste Kyle's statement because he covered just about everything.

tldr; no fix, happens when weather changes.

So, here's what I've come up with using various research on forums and here on facebook.

It happens and nobody knows why. Doesn't happen all the time. Seems to come and go. Months go by and it comes back for a day or two then leaves again. People have had the whole instrument panel replaced and it's come back.

Some people have said it is a programming issue, some have said it must be hardware. Mine does it sometimes, but like I said it will go away.

It's frustrating when it happens but so far it doesn't seem to affect anything negatively apart from your eyes.

You are more than welcome to do some digging on your own with the dealer but so far it's turned up that nobody knows why.

Thank you so much for the information.

I get migraines when the weather changes and mostly manage to function, so I'll just think of this as the EV's migraines.
