Preheating, on EVSE?

I'm looking to be able to start the car pre-heating from a phone or computer.

I've started down the path of the OVMS3 and OVMS Android App, and so far it seems promising. I have it reporting tire pressure (though, the positions are switched around on the app), locking and unlocking the car, and reporting on various statuses.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for getting the pre-heating to work?

I'm honestly not aware of such a feature working with our cars other than the built-in timer, or the app which never was an option for Canadian Souls. Perhaps there's been progress with that one app, I do recall something like that myself, but I thought they hit a wall which they couldn't scale - so to speak.

That would be through OVMS. You can also read them through Soul Spy etc. The OBDII PIDs for them were known early on.

Mine don't show though. I don't think it gives a numerical value. Maybe I have to drive it first.

Yes. A lot of the TPMS sensors have little G sensors built in and don't send pressures unless the wheels are turning.
