That's really efficient! My 2016 has gotten 16.7kWh/100kms this summer (that's approx. 6.1km/kWh I think) with mixed in town driving (50-60 km/h) and some highway (115-120 km/h) - no A/C though. Still not bad at all compared to most other EVs.

Maybe some problem with detecting your key (weak key battery?)? Have you tried pressing on the Start button with the keyfob itself when this occurs? That's how you start your car if the key battery dies.

The Soul EV uses a special refrigerant for EVs. Also, if you use the canned stuff, nobody will service your A/C because it will come up as being contaminated in their A/C system. Not recommended.

I would contact KIA USA Corporate directly. I had some success going that route (in Canada) when my car needed warranty work and there were no EV authorized KIA dealers in my province.

Isn't that the low tire pressure warning light? A really low tire pressure would prevent the traction control system from working as well, I imagine. Check your tire pressures.

That is simply amazing to me. I had my battery replaced almost two years ago and my range is rarely much more than 100km on a full charge (2016). Granted, I'm often driving on the highway at 115km/h, but I've never enjoyed the so called 150km+ range that others have frequently mentioned.

Could be your 12v battery under the hood is failing. Sudden lose of 12v voltage would probably result in what you're seeing. I agree, take it to KIA and get it checked out.

I just use Apple CarPlay on mine, you get the full iOS experience as fast as your phone can run it. I believe Android Auto is also supported, but I'm not familiar with it.
