17" vs 18" wheels/rims on the 2016 Soul EV

I pick up my 2016 titanium luxury (with sunroof) tomorrow!!

I am really not a fan of the stock rims and tires, and would like to switch them out for the 17 or 18 inch tires and rims offered on the gas Souls. Has anyone done this? How much range will I lose doing this?

If you pick a larger rim with thinner profile tire and keep the overall dimension the same, then the odometer / speedometer will be the same. The only range different would then be caused by the weight diff of the rim+tire and tires' roll resistance. No one can tell you by how much, so I think you're on your own.

But I would not do it, 'cause lower profile tires = worse ride quality.
