Car wouldn't start

today I tried to start my car and the red battery indicator light want on and. The headlight indicator light would blink. I tried several times to turn it off and on again, but it wouldn't work. Then , a few minutes later, it worked. Has anyone else had this experience? Do you know what it was?

I've not seen it, but is it possible you drained the 12V battery, by leaving the car in 'Acc' mode?

yep - been there, done that, the first or second full day of ownership ... drained the 12v battery when I incorrectly tried to pre-heat the car! I had to disconnect and charge the 12v battery, and it has worked fine every since ... lesson learned!

Right so maybe the 12V battery was flat, then when you turned the car on it started to charge the 12V battery from the big battery?
