Clueless service monkeys

Had my dealer's service department call me as they wanted me to come in after 3 months. When I said the service interval was 6 months as it was a Soul EV he said they needed me to come in after 6k kms "for an oil change". Only when I asked "And which oil would you be changing on a Soul EV" did he transfer me to a supervisor who knew what they were talking about :evil:

This is what I fear most- that the service techs won't have the experience to deal with any issues that come up.

I'm hoping that there are EV trained mechanics. My problem is the clueless "service advisor". I talk mechanic, I've rebuilt manual transmissions. I just hope that I can get around the monkeys behind the desk and talk to the mechanics.

During my first Soul EV test drive, the sales guy started touting the benefits of his dealership, which included free oil changes.
