Hello,

Soul 2018, I have a problem, when I give more acceleration, the "turtle" light comes on, the traction disappears. and if you drive slowly then the "turtle" light disappears. I read on this forum that it could be a problem with the electric water pump. I connected the diagnostics and checked if it works. I attached a photo, the numbers do not change, and it shows FALSE, this is really the problem, right? need to change.

Second problem, the heater heat not strong enough and later goes cold air, after few minutes again littlebit heat, could this be due to the electric water pump?

It is a very odd post. The electric water pump is for liquid cooling the motor and on-board-charger. If the motor is at -19C no further cooling is needed. This pump has no connection to cabin heating.

The posted image is from an unknown VCI diagnostic tool. The official version of this tool costs $2400 for the dongle and $800 per year for a subscription. There have been quite a few images using this tool recently suggesting a 'free' version is available somewhere. The images I have seen do not always show sensible results.
The only tool I fully trust is the official version and that is too expensive for the individual user.

ok, but why does the power disappear when I press full the accelerator or when driving uphill where more acceleration is required and "turtle symbol" light comes out? when drive slow the "turtle" goes out and power again come back

no fault codes on diagnostic tool.

Because the battery is degraded.
Losing all power while driving uphill is a sign of a bad battery.

I have seen this issue on a severely degraded battery. A 2011 Hyundai Blueon EV..
Here's a quote I wrote 5 years ago. - DC Charging not Working
... I have had this issue on a Hyundai BlueON EV. Very easy to check. Just find a steep mountain road. A very degraded battery will not be able to accelerate up nor regen down.
The advice is simple, start the process of getting a replacement battery under warranty. Just look around this forum for numerous threads detailing how to do this.

It was also the first sign of trouble on my 2015 Soul EV. Resolved by getting a replacement battery under warranty.
See Analysis of a replacement battery.

...
mileage is 230000 km 🫣
That is indeed well out of warranty. It's one of the highest mileages I have seen in a Soul EV.

First thing you need to do is confirm the actual range of the car while driving your normal commute on a warm day without HVAC and without heating. If this is good enough then you can probably keep using the car for another few years and it will work for most of the year without problem. Not good for winter, racing or mountain vacations.

If the range of the car is not good, I suggest looking for a replacement used 30kWh pack from a wrecked car at salvage yards. A wreck such as this where the battery is probably undamaged.
