Was driving along yesterday, and hit the first 1000 miles.
Up pops a notification that it is time for an oil change, with a prompt to schedule with a dealer.
Such a notice is so unimaginably stupid that I decided to "ride it to the end"; so I elected to go ahead and accept offered scheduling with a dealer. Since I didn't know what the "preferred dealer" setting was, I chose the "nearby dealers" option. I hit the touchscreen button, and watched while it spun for 15 - 20 minutes, with no response. I eventually cancelled the operation, and nothing more happened.
I just wonder why there would be such a stupid, nonsensical advisory.
