Turn Signal Behavior? Don't turn off w/o 90 degree turn?

Hi all - this is an odd behavior, and I'm not sure if it's a problem with the EV model in general, or my specific car?

I'm finding that during normal driving, that the turn signal isn't turning off by itself unless I make a full 90-degree turn. For less acute angles, like exit ramps, the signal keeps going - and even worse, it's relatively quiet, so I don't notice that it's on.

I've never had this problem with any modern car - and my 2011 Soul turn signals work as expected.

It's not to the severity of brakes failing, but I'm sure folks around me are occasionally confused.

May mention it to the dealer, but I thought I'd see if this problem is unique to my car.

Thanks!

Aletia

Soul EV (Kia car ?) have a push turn signal and a mecanical turn signal.

- Push can be set in the menu of the dashboard (disabled, 3-4-5 signals).
- Mecanical turn react like all turn signal linked to the steering wheel (no setting).

I use only the mecanical turn signal because i don't want that turn signal stop when i don't have finished the process.

Thanks for your comments - I found the info about adjusting the (what I would call) the "lane change" signal.

I've only ever used the mechanical turn signal for normal turns...and that's the one that I'm finding doesn't reset after I complete the turn, especially when it's not a really sharp turn (90 degrees or tighter).

I never have that problem with my other cars, including my 2011 Kia Soul (non-EV). So it just strikes me as odd - and I'm wondering if it's the nature of this model in general, or something that's defective in my car only.

Cheers!

Mine behaves the same way. I haven't thought about it much. I just turn them off when I finish a turn by habit now.
