I saw my first Soul EV besides mine in El Segundo today, a white one driving on El Segundo Blvd.

That's interesting - that would seem to indicate Kia is only producing on average, about 120 per month for the US market. Number's I've seen reported for other countries are pretty low (10's) ... so it would seem they are producing maybe 150 a month / 5 per day max? That seems to be well below reported sales targets of 15,000 in the first year, which would require at least 1,000 per month / ~35 per day. I wonder if it is a supply problem, production problem, or if they are going to ramp up to much higher numbers later (1,500 - 2,000 per month)??
