Level 1 charger in the rain.

I plug in at work at an exterior plug with the included KIA level 1 charger. It was raining yesterday, it charged fine and I imagine the EVSE is supposed to be weather resistant, but was just wondering if anybody had any issues with a charger shorting out or expiring while out in the rain . Thanks.

The Europea version is IP55. So raining should be no problem. You can read about the IP rating here.

I'm assuming the USA version is the same, but you can check on the back.
